Article 1 - Preamble
Rentalys Solution inc. hereinafter referred to as “Rentalys”, are offering a “sponsorship” operation until December 31, 2024. Rentalys reserves the right to modify the rules or to cease its participation in the said operation at any time without prejudice to the rights of sponsors for sponsorships in progress prior to the modification or cessation of the offer.

Article 2 - Purpose of the promotion
The present scheme enables a person known as the “sponsor” to introduce another person, known as the “sponsored person”, who is the owner-renter of a property, by transmitting his or her contact details to Rentalys, and to receive payment if a rental property management agreement is signed and as soon as the property is actually occupied under the conditions defined below.

Actual occupation of the property is defined as :
- either the signing of a lease with a tenant for unoccupied properties,
- or the signing of a two (2) year rental management agreement for rented properties.

Offer applies to residential properties only, excluding commercial, industrial and professional premises, land, parking lots and garages.

Article 3: Sponsor participation conditions
The promotion is open to any sponsor who is a legally capable natural person of legal age and who is not acting in the course of a professional activity. The sponsor may be a Rentalys rental customer or a resident of a Rentalys-managed property. The number of referrals is limited to one per year. A sponsor can only have one sponsored member and conversely a sponsored member can only have one sponsor. Self-sponsorship is not permitted and sponsorship is not retroactive.

The sponsor may not sponsor his or her spouse, cohabitee or business partner if the latter is a co-sponsor or a member of the joint ownership to which he or she belongs.

Article 4: Terms and conditions of sponsorship
The scheme is open to any sponsoree who is of legal age and who has not had a commercial or contractual relationship with Rentalys for a rental property management project in respect of the property being sponsored during the 12 months preceding the request to take advantage of the offer.

Article 5: Validity of sponsorship
The request to become a sponsor must be made via the duly completed dedicated contact form available on rentalys.ca or the flyer available in one of Rentalys Solution's places of business.

Once the request has been validated by Rentalys, the sponsor and the person referred will receive an e-mail confirming that the sponsorship request has been accepted. Rentalys reserves the right to decide whether or not to validate the referral and whether or not to enter into a contract with the person referred. Similarly, the person referred is free to decide whether or not to enter into a contract with Rentalys. In the event that more than one person wishes to sponsor the same person, only the person who first completes the presentation form and meets the conditions set out in these rules will receive the payment set out below.

Article 6: Sponsor fee
The sponsor's fee of $400 CAD will only be payable if a rental management mandate is signed and if the property is actually occupied by a tenant. Payment will be made by bank transfer within a reasonable period of time from the signing of a lease with a tenant if the property was not occupied on the day the rental management mandate was signed, or from the signing of the two (2) year rental management mandate if the property was already occupied by a tenant on the day the rental management mandate was signed.

Article 7: Referral compensation
Once the sponsorship promotion has been validated by Rentalys and once the rental management agreement has been signed and the rental of the sponsored property has been confirmed, the sponsoree may, if he/she so wishes, benefit from a pre-rental survey. This promotion will only be offered following the signature of a (2) year rental management agreement.

Article 8: Protection of personal data
The personal data collected by Rentalys is processed manually as part of the sponsorship program described above. The data collected is intended exclusively for Rentalys. It will be kept for the duration of the commercial relationship and for a maximum of 3 years after the end of the relationship.
